Donald F. Stockman 41, was found dead by cleaning personnel about 9:00a.m. in room 230 of the Red Roof Inn located at 2930 Goshen Road in Ft. Wayne, Indiana on Aug 23, 1993. He had been murdered the night before.
Dr. Raymond Beights, Allen County Coroner (at the time) said Stockman's body was found in a pool of blood in the middle of the floor. Dr. Beights stated an autopsy showed Donald died from stab wounds too numerous to count in his neck, stomach, and chest. Beights said Stockman also had cuts on his hands which may indicate that he was trying to defend himself from the attacker/s.
Now, even though this is a very cold case, the F.W.P.D. still states that it's status is open. So they will not release any information to the family, so we can get help else where.
